To create online account, Account Executive (AE) will need to email Marketing Coordinator (MC) a request for Client Login/Password. In the email, include the following information:

  • Company Name
  • Customer Name
  • Customer Email

Once received, MC will setup your account in our system. An automated response will be sent to the client with User Name/Password. The email will be sent to the address provided by the AE. This step will only need to be done one time for each client, unless multiple users from the company need access.

 If I am providing my artwork, what type of file is acceptable?
We prefer PSD, EPS, TIFF, PDF, AI or high res JPEG.

Instructions to Upload Artwork:

  • Login
  • Click on Folder with your Company Name
  • Click on Add Files to This Folder
  • Click on Browse to locate the file being uploaded
  • Max file size is 200Mb
  • Once file is chosen, Click on Start Upload

Will SignAd design my ad?
SignAd is available to assist in designing your ad from start to finish.

What about art elements (Logos/Photos) in my ad?
Any elements provided must be high resolution. If you are providing a hard copy element such as a photograph, please ensure that it is the highest quality for scanning purposes.

How many words can I have on my ad?
The general rule of thumb is to use 7 words or less to convey your message. When it comes to billboards, less is best.

How many colors can I have on my ad?
You are free to use as many colors as you would like on your ad.

Will SignAd assist in getting logos from my vendors?
SignAd has access to a tremendous amount of logos. We are happy to work with your vendors if we do not already have the needed logo. However, we have found that vendors are often more helpful when working directly with their client.

Do you provide a photographer?
SignAd does not provide professional photographers. Your Account Executive should be able to assist you in taking photos if necessary.

What makes a good photo?

- Portraits – Bust shots (head and shoulders) provide the best results. We are able to remove backgrounds when necessary.

- Retail – Photographing ONE item is more effective than photographing the interior of the business.

- Small, detailed objects will not show up very well.

- Interiors of homes / offices are not recommended.

Will I finalize my artwork before it is posted?
Your Account Executive will ask you to approve the final proof prior to printing.

How many changes are allowed when designing an ad?
SignAd will provide a first draft that is based off of initial input provided by you. Typically 3 – 4 minor changes may follow.

Do you analyze the read of the board?
The Account Executive and the client should both provide pertinent board location information to our Graphic Designer upon beginning the design process.



Will SignAd print my vinyl?
Yes. Please ask your Account Executive if there are any fees associated.

What type of vinyl does SignAd print on?
SignAd prints on 7oz, black back vinyl.



Who installs the vinyl on the billboard?
SignAd will install your ad.

How long until my artwork is posted?

- After you approve your final proof, your vinyl will be posted in 4 to 5 business days (weather permitting).

- LED ads can be up in a matter of minutes.



May I have the vinyl when it comes off of the sign?
The vinyl is property of SignAd and is not always in perfect condition once it is removed. Ask your Account Executive if it is possible for you to pick-up your vinyl from our Houston, Texas warehouse.

How long do vinyls last?
The vinyl material we use is designed to last for a couple of years.

If the vinyl becomes damaged, who pays to replace it?
SignAd will be responsible for replacing vinyls if they are damaged by natural causes. SignAd will also be responsible for replacing vinyls if they have graffiti, etc. on them.
